Help for the Robinson Family
On the morning of November 19, 2019, Marques Robinson passed away as a result of stomach cancer. He was surrounded by his wife, Ebony Robinson, and family as he peacefully drifted off.

On Monday, August 12, Marques Robinson started a new dream job. As a therapist and counselor, he was moving into a leadership position, with a great opportunity to help at-risk youth, and a pay raise. He could not have been more excited...
Unfortunately, on the same day, Marques and his family got the kind of crushing news no one would ever want to hear. Marques was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer. As hard as it is to type those words, it was a thousand times harder to hear.
Marques is a such a positive light in so many lives. Loving husband to Ebony. Loving father to R'reon (21), Robert (18), Elyijah (16), Romello (13) and Ellyott (3). Loving brother and son. Treasured friend. Marques is always the first one there when his loved ones are in need. His huge heart led him to dedicate his life to service as a therapist, focusing on at-risk youth, and struggling families.
While his family and friends are reeling from the news of his cancer, Marques immediately declared his intention to fight. The doctors immediately started to aggressively treat through chemo therapy on Saturday, August 17, and said these first 3 months are crucial for Marques' battle.
The family is banding together to support him, but they will need all the help they can get. The money donated here is intended to support the many foreseeable and unforeseeable matters that will arise in the lives of Ebony and the kids. The family will need financial help with Marques' treatment and care. They will also need assistance with the huge financial strain, now that Marques is unable to work.
In addition to this somber event; on September 28 Marques’ only brother, Melvin Robinson, was tragically taken from his family during his attempt to prevent theft near his home and business. He was Marques’ best friend and big brother protector. Melvin you are loved, you are missed, you are remembered.
This campaign represents the best efforts of a community of family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances to show their love and support for Marques and the Robinson Family, at a time when they need it the most. Anything given is beyond appreciated.
