SPONSORING NEW REFUGEES THROUGH THE WELCOME CORPS

Hello, we are a group of five friends named FAM Refugee Support Group organized by Fikre Suloro in Clarkston, Georgia. We are raising money to sponsor Ashenafi Dakeso to come to the USA through the Welcome Corps. The Welcome Corps allows us to welcome refugees seeking freedom and safety in the United States. As the Welcome Corps policy states, we will provide Ashenafi’s initial housing and basic needs as well as help him find employment.

Our total fundraising target is $10,000. 100% of the funds we raise will be spent supporting Ashenafi’s start-up and living expenses during his transition to independence.
