This fundraiser is for a Queer Trans Palestinian struggling with severe mental illness that harms their physical health. They have been diagnosed with a depressive disorder, an eating disorder, and a stress-anxiety disorder since they were 12 years old. They have attempted suicide and were hospitalized, but the hospital stay was harmful. They are in extreme distress. Their parents were not able to take care of them because their dad was incarcerated and their mother comes from an internally-displaced family. They are unemployed and both of their parents are unemployed.
The only hope they have now lies in seeing a specialized therapist abroad, but that can be very expensive, which is why they are asking for help. Each session costs $180. This survival fund will also include money for rent to ensure they stay somewhere safe abroad. Receipts with anonymity preserved will be posted once money is collected and bills are paid.
