Please Help Save My Dad From Cancer

Hi, my name is Pauline and I'm asking for help to raise money for my dad's medical costs, so he can get the treatment he needs to fight his cancer.  In April, this year he went for a colonoscopy and when they spread his buttlocks, they found a big black mole.  The doctors feared right then it was Invasive Melanoma, and sure enough it was Stage 4 Invasive Melanoma!  They gave him 1-3 mo. to live.  Since then, he has had 3 major operations causing him so much pain and complications.  His cancer is very fast growing and everything about where it started and what they keep finding is rare.  His first surgery, they cut out a size of baseball and 4 in. deep out of bottom where the mole was.  He went home with drain tubes that kept getting infected and wouldn't stop draining, delaying treatment.  Then, they found more cancer, so he went in for a 2nd surgery.  This time cutting him hip to hip, taking out several lymph nodes and more drain tupes, with the same issue.  Recovery was very difficult with both of these surgeries.  Still, time keeps passing, and he still was not able to start treatment, because once again the cancer spread.  He just had his 3rd surgery Sept. 24th.  This one was the worst, causing so many complications and the pain was unbearable!  Once again, they went in and took out several lymph nodes out of groin area, and between his stomach and back and some tumors the developed in his legs.  He spent 6 days in the hospital, because they couldn't get his pain under control.  He's been having more complications from the surgery.  Last week, here in Oct. he finally got a port in and got his first treatment.  He thougt he was doing ok with treatment, but then he developed a rash all over his body that has been itching so much, they believe its an allergic reaction to the treatment.  When they checked him over again this week, they found another tumor in his left leg and he is waiting to find out if it is more cancer.  They are pretty sure it is.  Since his cancer is so fast growing, there is a pill he can take that can stop the cancer from growing for 8 mo. if it works on him, and then he would be able to continue the treatment without having to keep getting surgeries.  The only issue, is the FDA makes you jump through so many loop holes before they will give it to you.  They rather him do treatment first and surgeries first.  They only want to use it as a last measure.  He is fighting right now to let him take the pill since the cancer won't slow down, and he can't handle another surgery.  All of this of course is very expensive and him and wife only have health insurance through the state that does not cover much.  They have a little antique store they rent out space to have some kind of living.  My dad has went to garage sales every weekend to bring items he buys to the store to sell.  He is a very caring dad and grandfather to my 5 children & 2 grandchildren.  He just turned 68 years old this year in May.  His name is Larry.  Any amount that you can help with will be so greatly appreciated.  He has very high medical expenses.  I've already taken so much out saving myself to help and so I can't do alone and don't want this to pile so high on him and my step-mother.  I really can't imagine losing him to cancer, he is so young and is fighting to live, so please help him.  He need your help so he can get the medical care he needs to Fight this Cancer!  Words cannot describe how thankful I will be for any amount of donation you would be willing to give to him.
