Urgent Help Needed to Keep Our Family Home

Hi all,

We are in a terrible place financially!

I was laid off in September and have not found a job to replace my income. I work in cybersecurity, I thought I’d easily find a new job before my severance was over. Unfortunately I’ve learned while it is a high demand field, it is also very competitive! Due to this, we have not been able to pay our major bills like my car and our house, I had the higher income. And now at this point it is not as easy as just gaining employment. The foreclosure proceedings have begun. We have limited options:

-Pay the loan in full $147k!

-File bankruptcy (bad for credit) need lawyer retainer

-Sell to one of those cash investor places (hopefully make a profit but have to move)

-let it foreclose (have to move, bad for credit, no profit!)

We will lose our house in a month or two unless we can pay the remainder of our loan!

not to mention in December I was extremely sick in bed with an upper respiratory infection, while also suffering a miscarriage. My health has really taken a hit with this unexpected stressful situation. I have 2 chronic illnesses that I need to carefully manage, I need to go to my 6m checkups to get medication refills. While we have health insurance through Brian’s employer, we unfortunately cannot afford the deductible right now.

Please help us keep the house we brought Nova home in! Help us keep Sophia in her school! Help us afford groceries and medical expenses!
