Hello there chickens! My name is Cherlynn Álvarez and I am currently a senior at Webster Conservatory of Theatre Arts here in St. Louis Missouri.
Every year the seniors have an incredible opportunity to go to New York and Los Angeles and there we get the chance to work with casting directors/agencies who are involved in the industry. Luckily the New York showcase is covered by my tuition, however L.A. is not. We are responsible for covering the L.A. portion ourselves. So, I am reaching out to you for some help. My goal is to raise $2,000 and that will cover airfare, hotel, transportation, and meetings with casting directors/agencies.
With the limited time that I have and being a full- time student obtaining a job makes it difficult sometimes. I am funded by financial aid, but my support system and rock is my mother who is raising and supporting three kids on her own. My sister and I have been blessed enough to have gone to college and we have gained an incredible and rewarding education, taking every opportunity and making our dreams become a reality.
I am one step closer to living a life I never knew was possible for me. I have learned that with diligence, perseverance, and faith that the unimaginable can be achievable. Your help would mean the ABSOLUTE world to me and I would be forever grateful! Thank you truly from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this far.
