Macey Stockwell

Many friends and family of the Judd/Stockwell/Nicholas family finds themselves in a heart-wrenching and unexpected situation, one that we never could have anticipated. Their beloved daughter and sister, Macey Stockwell, has tragically passed away. We are devastated by this loss, and our lives will never be the same again.
Heather has worked hard her entire life to provide for herself and her kids while asking very little from the people around her. As a single mom of four, she has worked her entire life to provide for her children to be happy and comfortable. Mama Heather has been a mom to many and a comfort to all, we are hoping to turn around and now help comfort her. While Heather is not one to ever ask for help, especially financial help, many have been asking how to assist in bringing Macey home. We hope this offers a way to for who are able to help. Please note that we have Heathers permission to start this Gofundme.
On top of grieving for their daughter and sister, Heather and her kids now are in the middle of a complicated process to transport her home and arrange for a funeral. We hope you consider donating to help reunite Macey with her sister, two brothers, her sweet mama and many more who are eager to bring her home and put her to rest.
Here is a sweet tribute Heather wrote about Macey right after the accident.
It is with heavy heart and all the LOVE a Mama can have for a child, I am coming to let you all know, our Macey Stockwell is gone!
She was SO HAPPY Sunday!
She and I talked several times! She had made the INCREDIBLY BRAVE decision it was time to come home and be with Family! So she was headed back to Idaho!
She packed her car. Wrapped up her favorite pup! And they hit the road!
It is suspected she swerved to miss an animal. But her car rolled.
Earlier in the day, she had reported to us, she had seen a bear! So fun for our Macey who LOVED animals!
She even video chatted with me today/yesterday while on her trip. She had so many plans!
We talked about me flying up to Alaska and driving with her. But she wanted to prove to herself and the world just how brave and independent she was!
That's what this move was about! She wanted to step into her own strength! Her own identity! Her own life!
So now she'll step into her new life beyond this one!
She is BRAVE! She even went skydiving!
She LOVED to sing! She loved the stage! She Loved her dog! She LOVED her people!
If you were one of her people, you know what I mean! She LOVED with everything! Even to a fault!
She was the cheerleader for the underdog!
She was the friend to ALL who would take her!
She has quite the movie collection.
And you should see the hats that girl has!
She LOVED her job!
Friday was one of the hardest days for her! It was the last day at the shop. They loved her, as well! When the boss found out she was going to Idaho, he tried to find her a job in Washington. It's just too bad we are Southern Idaho. But she was so good at what she did, they wanted to keep her!
She even had a job lined up in Pocatello based on her references and reputation!
Macey LOVED Family!
We were looking forward to having her home again! She was making plans to reconnect with so many of you!
She even talked about performing in the Christmas Show with me! (If you didn't know she loved music and musical theatre.... you were missing out)
But all of it was her HEART!
SHE HAS THE PUREST HEART!
I Love you, Roo!
I'll keep a lookout for your boxes! Thank you for CHOOSING me as your MOM!
Your family....those you were born to and those you chose, will ALWAYS LOVE YOU!
