Donation protected

Well, the lads have done an amazzziing job with their fund raising. Next up - it's the parents takeover ;-) A team of 14 hardy mountain goats are taking on the the Lake District 6 Mountain Challenge on the 13th April - and aiming to complete it it under 7 hours!!

Taking on the challenge are: Andrea Bargery; Andrew Bargery; Anna Worsley; Cath Boyle; Charlotte Coleman; David Ottiwell; Emma Haase; Kat Sheldon; Mark Haase; Nicola Perry; Jonathan Perry; Paul Williams; Ralph Tucker & Chris Coleman.

Any support will be hugely welcome by the team :-) Please read the story of our teams fundraising challenge below.

The lads of the Under 14 squad at Lymm Rugby club are doing their best to get everyone out to Portugal this year for their first ever development tour - but they need some help! They're washing cars, selling raffle tickets, doing whatever they can to raise some funds to get everyone out to the tour. To push themselves even further - and to get more support & sponsorship - they've now signed up to the mammoth '1500 Mile Challenge'. Can you help?

The ‘1500 Mile Challenge’ sees all the lads attempting to run, ski, bike, row, lift, jump a total of 1500 miles which represents the distance of Lymm to Portugal - all expertly coached by the Alex, Sam and the brilliant team at 'MVMT Rooms' in Lymm who are donating their facilities & expertise. The lads will be working together in team relays through the day to hopefully smash this target and get as much support as they can! Go on lads!!

Taking on the challenge on Saturday 24th Feb are: Alfie Chadwick, Jem Breeze, Olly Dobson, Ben Clarke, Finn Tucker, Olly Baker, Gethin Williams, Alex Davies, Jonathan Bargery, Lucas Screeton, Zaccie Scott, Will Connolly, Max Sheldon, Joe Worsley, Leo Coleman, Alfie Haase, Jack Connelly, Harry Clayton, Lewis Moran, James Mayne, James Perry, George Tobin, Connor Norris, Connor Coyle, George Hare, Kian O'Sullivan, Jonah Ottiwell, James Henney, Matthew Simmons Archie Morgan.

The parents are taking on a challenge of their own too. A team of 15 hardy mountain goats(!!) are taking on the ‘Lake District 6 Peak Challenge’ on Saturday 13th April. This is 15km up and across not 1, but 6 of the highest, most challenging peaks in the Lake District with a target time of under 7 hours. 25% of the sponsorship for this parents event will be donated to the RFU's 'Rugby United' campaign to bring the spirit and joys of rugby to those who've yet to experience its magic.

Rugby is more than a sport; it’s a teacher of life skills, a builder of friendships, and a nurturer of mental and physical health. However, for many young people across the country these benefits remain just beyond reach, not from a lack of passion, but from a lack of opportunity. By sponsoring us on this epic challenge you'll be helping get our squad to Portugal and make some unforgettable memories but you'll also be opening doors to new possibilities, new friendships, and new dreams. 25% of the adult sponsorship we raise from the mountain trek will go to 'Rugby United', amplifying our impact both on and off the field.

In addition, between now the end of April we'll have a host of additional challenges and events (to be added here). So, let's scrum down and make a difference together. Support our U14 players on their journey to Portugal, support rugby, and let's bring the game to everyone!

Thanks for your support,
