H4C Bush Kids Adventure

Thank you for donating to Horses for Courses for Bush Kids. This years project is called the H4C Bush Kids Adventure:
The H4C Bush Kids Adventure takes place over 9 days through the Victorian High Country between December 2 – 10, 2023. This year we are taking 14 Bush Kids from across Queensland and The Northern Territory to experience the adventure of a lifetime. Participants will ride horses through the beautiful Snowy Mountains. They will follow in the tracks of The Man from Snowy River and Ned Kelly, visiting historic Cattlemen’s Huts, and even spending time at a Chocolate Factory.
The H4C Bush Kids Adventure is aimed at alleviating impacts of social isolation which is a major contributing factor in mental health issues for Bush Kids. Through the creation of opportunities for social connectedness, we are fostering healthy social and emotional well-being for participants. Everyone has experienced mental health effects which can result from social isolation (thank you Covid19) but imagine if that was your everyday life! Some bush kids, living in geographically isolated areas only get to catch up with their school friends 4 times a year due to the tyranny of distance. Through a mutual connection with horses, the H4C Bush Kids Adventure program fosters the creation of friendships, connects kids and raises awareness of issues impacting families in the bush.
We can't do it without your support,
