I left parts of my heart around the world: orphanages in Romania, gypsies on the streets of Brussels or poor and helpless people. The last part stayed in Kenya ... Down there I met the Joy through the eyes of children, hands stuck to your face and your hair, Joy through songs, colours and kindness.
In this country so rich in natural resources women work more than 12 hours for less than a dollar. Most prefer to put their children in "homes" so that they have at least one hot meal a day. The water is brought from far away and often is not purified, children have no places to play, clothes are dirty and insufficient, diseases abound. There is simply so much to do! …
