Aahuti….A Journey Of Devotion

Namaste everyone,

My name is Shilpi, and for the past ten years, I have been learning and practicing Kathak under Dr. Sarah Morelli, studying in the lineage of Pt. Chitresh Das. I am beyond thrilled to share that on May 10, I will be presenting my solo Kathak concert accompanied by Shree Jayanta Banerjee “Sitar”, Shree Satyaprakash Mishra “Tabla” and Shree Sumit Maharjan “Bansuri” at Parker Schoolhouse (5:30PM, doors open at 5:00PM).

This performance is a labor of love and a celebration of our rich classical heritage. To bring this vision to life, I am running a fundraiser to help cover essential costs such as auditorium rental, musician fees, travel, Visa expenses and rehearsals. The total budget is $10,000, and while I am personally covering a portion, I seek support from our community through donations and sponsorships.
