"BUILD A FAMILY HOME" & "SELF SUFFICIENT PROJECTS"

PROJECT 1/. - Before Covid, Father of 5, had a great job & started to build their dream house - “UNTIL COVID HIT 2020”. 4 years later, with his health deteriorating, single father & children, live in a very unfinished house. Only a few walls, hardly any roof at all, & areas of the house, unusable. With the little amount of money the Father does get, goes towards the children’s education & what food they can harvest & purchase. I had the amazing privilege in Jan 2024, to meet them for the first time, in their house & was greeted with hugs, laughter, smiles and song. What a beautiful family.

One of FijiOz Foundations projects for 2024, is to help bring this house up to a comfortable living environment for this amazing family. Adding walls, fixing the roof, cleaning up areas & supplying bedding, & appliances where needed. Also to help in garden to make it more self sufficient for the whole family. We can not achieve this without the help of donations.

PROJECT 2/. - "TO BE SELF SUFFICIENT", is so important but in some countries, it is harder to achieve for many different reason. FijiOz is launching a program called “TO BE SELF SUFFICIENT" helping young woman & men in Fiji, set up their own business, learning the tricks & trades in all areas.

For example - Currently in some rural areas of Fiji, the villagers need to travel up to 3 hours each way, down the mountain to get to shops to get their weekly shopping, but their is a young lady who loves to bake & wants to be able to have her own little shop on the mountain, where she can bake her own bread, cookies etc so as the villagers can purchase off her. She will learn how to grow her business, understanding about profit & loss.

FijiOz would like to build her a small shop with fit outs so that she can start & grow her business, giving her the support for her to become “Self Sufficient”.

To be able to achieve both these Projects, FijiOz requires funds, so if you can spare $5, every donation will help.

FijiOz still takes over other boxes of donations many times per year & will continue to do so.
