Hi, my name is Chelsea, I'm the wife of Aaliyah's brother Joe. We are all grieved by the unexpected passing of our sweet Aaliyah on Saturday, February 10, 2024. We are creating this gofundme so we can have a memorial/funeral service. Since this was so sudden, we are in need of funding to give her the memorial she deserves.

Aaliyah was a light to anyone that met her, to know her is to love her. She loved spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews, listening to music, and making everyone laugh. She is so dearly missed and this has been difficult for all of those who loved her, so even if you are unable to donate, your prayers are much appreciated.

The funeral is in the planning process and we will update everyone as soon as we have a confirmed date.
