Hello everyone, my name is Alysha Storms. I’m writing this on behalf of my lifelong friends Coral & Quenton Winfrey as they take their time to grieve the loss of their mother.

On the morning of July 10th, our family was devastated by the sudden passing of Aarla Mcleod, our beloved mother, nana, and friend at just 67 years old. Aarla was a beautiful soul with such positive energy, love, and compassion for everyone that was blessed to be in her presence over the years.

To her daughter Coral she was her best friend, her rock, her nurturer, an entertainer, warrior, and survivor.

To her son Quenton she was his best friend, his rock, his teacher, the greatest cook of all time, the most caring mother he could have asked for and his biggest fan!

To her grandson Darius she was a teacher, a nurturer, and his massage therapist always giving him the best foot rubs, just the best nana ever.

To her soulmate & best friend of 15 years Geo, she was his pillar of strength keeping him grounded through life's ups and downs. She was the love of his life.

The unexpected loss of Aarla has left a massive void in the hearts of her loved ones. Learning how to navigate life without her guidance and support will be an upward climb for them now and in the years to come.

Today we are coming forward to ask for help with memorial expenses so we can peacefully lay our mother to rest. All donations will go towards Aarlas cremation and celebration of life. While also allowing her children time to grieve without worry. Anything is appreciated during these hard times.
