Aaron and Ashley Are (Still) Adopting!

2024 Update: Yes, it's true! We're *still* waiting to adopt after being added to our agency's waiting family list quite a while ago. The good news is that our profile is shown regularly. The not good news is that inflation has caught up with our agency and our fees have gone up. In light of this, we're dusting off Ye Olde GoFundMe to help offset that increase. Thank you for your incredible generosity thus far! And thank you for caring for our family and praying for us as we wait.

We're excited to finally let everyone know our family is growing! We are adopting.

After a year and a half of training, paperwork, background checks, and more, we're now on the waiting family list. It could be weeks or years before we bring a child into our home, but this is a big step for us.

Thank you so much to those who have already asked to help us with the financial side of adoption. We are incredibly honored that you would choose to link arms with us in this way. All contributions may be made to our GoFundMe account or directly to either one of us via Zelle.

Please pray for us in this waiting period. Please pray for the expectant parents who consider our family for their child. We are keenly aware of the fact that our joy will be born out of another's sorrow. And we are grateful for the ability to hold space for all of this, the now and the not yet, the joy and the sorrow, the uncertainty and the hope.
