Aaron Case Cremation Fund

Donation protected
My name is Christy. Aaron was my cousin. We grew up together always having the best time as children and teens, being only 6 months apart in age. Somewhere along the way, Aaron was influenced to dabble in drugs and alcohol, and lost his way. I noticed his personality begin to change in the early 2000s. Aaron became estranged with most family members as he got deeper into this lifestyle, as we all wanted to help him break free of the grip that the drugs had on him. Aaron was never a bad person, he was just never taught accountability during his formative years, though in his adolescence and young adulthood there were so many people who attempted to mentor him, most finally relented. I want you to know the person we all loved and loved to be around, because who he became was not the same person. Any time I've seen him the past couple of years, I've begged him to get help and do better, as I'm certain most of the family has done. Here's why I'm coming to you... the City of Hamilton has an indigent fund for such times as this, but trying to obtain all of the necessary information for him AND his next of kin, is proving to be a struggle. Aaron died on Christmas Day and is still in the county morgue. They have been very gracious, while his mother and I work together to obtain the necessary documents to qualify- but this will not be the case for much longer, as there could be a shortage of space at any time, and they usually don't hold bodies for very long. I am overcome with gratitude for all of the city and county officials that have worked with us, thus far. But time is not on our side and I thought, it's time to ask for help to get this handled before he is cremated as "unclaimed". If you can't donate, please send prayers or good juju- whatever you've got, that this will all be taken care of asap.
We need enough money to have him cremated, provide transportation for his mother to get into town and stay here long enough for the process to be completed. Please know this plea is not easy for me, as everyone has their feelings about addiction, and I am more than understanding about that! At the end of the day, there is still a human being laying in a morgue waiting to be put to rest. Today is January 19. It has been 25 days since he passed.
I will show any allowable documents if anyone would like proof for their donation. Thank you all. ❤️
