Aaron Davis Funeral Expenses

Aaron Davis (21) was taken from his family this past weekend and this GoFundMe is to assist the family during this time of hardship.

The Davis family would love to bury their son in his final resting place in Massachusetts in their family plot. However, expenses for burial is very large, and we wish to ease the unexpected financial stress that has come into their lives. Many of you have expressed a desire to assist the family during this time without overwhelming them as they need time and distance to process their grief. So please share your love and efforts towards these expenses as any donation would be appreciated.

Edit: we found out that the transfer to Massachusetts is more than we expected, so we raised the fund to 20,000. Thank you so much for understanding and for your continued support.

Purpose of this fundraiser for clarification for GoFundMe: 

-this money is NOT for myself. I am merely an instrument and a family friend in which I will personally deliver funds directly to the Davis family.

-to make transfers easiest for family and not to disclose their privacy, my own personal savings account is used to transfer these funds, but my responsibility to the family will have me stay on top of these funds so that the family will receive every single penny donated to them. 

-several checks will be provided to them and I will post on my Facebook (and Aaron’s) whenever I do so.

Most of you have heard by now that our son Aaron was savagely taken from us. We will always love him and miss him. He was the glue in our family dynamic with special ties to each of his siblings and parents. He was loved by his friends. We are still trying to make sense of this tragedy and why this happened. He was always a kid at heart but also so smart and embraced the adulthood that he needed to.

He graduated from college in April, finished his internship this Summer, was so happy in having a girlfriend (and her family) that he truly loved, had just aced an entrance exam for his Master's program the very last day that any of us had contact with him. We were so excited to see where his future was heading.

We will miss him forever.

We trust through the atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ that we will see him again and he will always be part of our eternal family. Thank you to all who have reached out and served our family at this difficult time. Even if we don't respond, know that each thought, reminiscence and prayer for us is appreciated and felt.
