WE POST UPDATES AS WE GET THEM SO PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE THEM: In 2014, Calise “Mike” and Victoria LeBert Doucet’s son, Aaron, was diagnosed with Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma, a blood cancer that causes body lesions,He did treatment, but there is no cure. In July 2019, his cancer progressed to Stage 4a. He now needs a stem cell transplant in order to survive.
He has not been able to work since September. He has been going through radiation and prescription therapy. In January of 2020, he will start the stem cell transplant process. He will have to live in Houston within 15-20 minutes of MD Anderson for 4 to 5 months. He also will have to have a 24 hour care giver. His mom will be going with him as his primary care giver. The cost of living after he comes out of the hospital will be about $1,700 per month.
As you can imagine, he has drained his savings and these upcoming expenses are monumental. Between the out of pocket medical expenses and the cost of living away from home, he will need a lot of help. He can't collect disability for six months and he doesn't want to ask for help so we're asking for him.
What do we need?
First, we covet your prayers. It is going to be a long and trying road and we are trusting God. Please pray.
Second, any financial assistance you offer would be so greatly appreciated.
Thank you so very much! God Bless You!
