Aaron Duke Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Aaron Duke was riding his motorcycle on Tuesday, May 12, down Nicholasville Road when a truck turned in front of him and hit him head on. He and his girlfriend, Melissa Scott, were on their way to the pet store. They did not survive this tragic accident.
Aaron was born in Louisville, KY, and spent the majority of his life in Jessamine County. He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him. He was always a fighter, and had a overcome so many health obstacles in his life. He always had a smile and an encouraging word for anyone who spoke to him, regardless of his health. He battled through a lifetime of kidney failure and all of the complications that came with that, but never let that get his spirit down.
We are starting this fund to help his family pay for funeral expenses. Aaron leaves behind his mother, Eileen Meads, his father, Tony Duke, his sister, Lauren Duke, and his brother, Gordon Duke, as well as 2 nephews and 1 niece, as well as many other family and friends who adore him. Aaron was baptized at the age of 10 in Louisville, KY. We are all mourning the loss of this amazing man, but rest assured that he is in the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ with a renewed body. He was not ashamed of his faith, and that gave him so much peace during his trials throughout life.
Due to Covid-19 regulations, there will only be a small, private service for his family. We are planning a celebration of life for him when we are allowed. This fund will help show support to his family during these trying times.
