Aaron Hamilton’s pancreatic cancer surgery
Donation protected
Toward the end of last year, our dear friend Aaron Hamilton was diagnosed with a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor. This is a very rare but - thankfully slow growing- cancer. However, this required a major surgery on April 19 a ways from home at Cleveland Clinic to remove the tumor from the central pancreas and attach his intestines to his pancreas for drainage. He will be in the hospital anywhere from 7-8 days, depending on any complications. Being that far from home means the cost of an extended stay in an Airbnb for his family as well as travel and food expenses. While they do have insurance, there is also the expense of a $9,000 deductible they are required to pay out of pocket before receiving any coverage. Because they would never ask for this on their own, a group of close friends to the Hamiltons thought it would be a blessing to create a GoFundMe and provide other avenues of donations to help meet the needs of these large expenses. They still have 3 children living at home to provide for amidst all of this as well. We are very thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness thus far and that there is a good prognosis! If you feel the Lord leading you to help, you can donate either through this GoFundMe, or by sending funds directly to any of the other methods listed below:
