Aaron Metcalf Leukemia Fundraiser

It is with great sadness that we are sharing that Aaron has just been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).  This has come as a tremendous shock, as onset was sudden with little warning.

Many of you know Aaron and Jill Metcalf.  They are well known through their BBQ shop, Double XL BBQ, in Rogers, TX (which they recently had to close due to Covid).  Jill helped Aaron in the BBQ shop, as well as homeschooling their children.  If you know Jill and Aaron, they are always the first people there when someone is in need to lend a helping hand, and provide food to help feed others.  They are active in bettering their community, in their church, and with programs for youth.

Aaron has no medical insurance.  He was admitted to the hospital in Temple on Thursday, and initially, is expected to be there for at least 2 weeks to begin treatment.  He has a long hard road ahead of him, and the bills are already mounting.

Jill and Aaron have five children, and with Covid-19 keeping everything shut down, they have no income at this time.  Now that Aaron is unable to work, they will need assistance with their household bills as well as the medical expenses. 

We know times are difficult right now with so many businesses shut down and people not working, but if you are able, and can find it in your heart to help, any and all donations would be greatly appreciated!!
