Aaron Mullen Medical Expenses

To all who know the Mullen Family there are two undeniable facts: 1) this family loves each other and all those whose lives they touch with all their hearts and 2) this family has had several years of struggles to endure, more than seems fair.

Unfortunately I am reaching out for support as the Mullen’s are facing another serious struggle. Recently Aaron was brought in for Emergency back surgery to correct weakness in his legs/feet from compressed spinal nerves. After the surgery he was not recovering full feeling in his leg and arm so additional testing was done to discover that the weakness is being caused by a golf ball sized brain tumor. Aaron is facing surgery tomorrow, May 16, to remove as much of the tumor as possible and to determine next steps after the tumor is biopsied. This family has a love and deep faith that I am confident will persevere through this health emergency, however, we are seeking people who are able to send prayers to help them through as well as any financial support you are able to provide. For anyone unaware of the recent health struggles the Mullen’s have faced, Aaron’s wife Kara is a recent cancer survivor and his son Gunnar battled through a very scary blood infection last year. Through Kara and Gunnar’s hospitalizations and needed support Aaron has already used all of his paid time off available and has had several weeks of unpaid leave already and will be unable to return to work for the remainder of the school year.
