UPDATE: We raised $555 total between GoFundMe and other sources! Thank you to everyone that donated and shared. Also, we had an unexpected blessing today. A lady, who I presume knows Aaron, stopped by his apartment complex’s office this morning and wrote a check from her church and completely covered Aaron and Verena’s rent. I don’t know who she is or what Church, but the lady from the office called Verena this morning and let us know. Verena is putting the $555 on the account towards November’s rent. Concerning Aaron’s health, it’s still a waiting game. They have refined his treatment plan, but his confusion and memory loss has not yet returned. He should start improving each day now though.

Hi everyone, my name is Jonathan. The picture above my brother Aaron. He is very sick right now, and he and his roommate Verena need your help. They need to raise some money to stay in their apartment.

My brother lost his job on September 1st, and he has some health problems. This last week, it became apparent that something was seriously wrong. I took him to Vanderbilt ER in Nashville on 9/21. He has been admitted to the hospital. He will be in the hospital through this week and likely into next week. Please pray for him. They are treating him for pneumonia and some GI issues. His immune system is compromised, and he is suffering from confusion due to the infection in his lungs. It’s a lot and we are just taking it one step at a time. I’m doing all I can to help and make sure he gets the care he needs. Please help me to help keep them in their home.

Verena needs help to keep the bills paid while Aaron fights this. We are hoping to raise enough to get October’s rent paid. So that they are not made homeless during this difficult time. If you can spare anything at all, we will be forever grateful!
