Aaron Sims needs a Living Kidney Donor

Hi! I'm Aaron, a 39 year old entrepreneur who comes from a big loving family and is addicted to traveling and exploring different cultures and I need a Living Donor Kidney Transplant.
Today, my kidney functionality is just above 10% and my health care team suggests within 6 months I will need a transplant or will have to begin dialysis treatment to stay alive.
There are approximately 95,000 others ahead of me on the cadaver waiting list which could take up to 5 years.
The goal here is to find a living donor, before my kidneys fail, triggering the need for dialysis. So, I need you now more than ever and am asking for your support in helping me find a living donor.

I am originally from Chicago but have been living in central North Carolina for the past two years. In July, 2018, after returning from several months of travel throughout South America, East and Western Europe, and Africa I found blood clots in my left leg. Doctors assured me it was an acute diagnosis related to the extended extensive air travel. Days on the side lines turned to weeks, then to months, and now two years later I have only 10% kidney function, officially with a lupus nephritis and chronic kidney disease diagnosis.
I have fought the good fight for the past two years but being sick in America isn't cheap. Even with insurance, as an entrepreneur most of the upfront expenses are on the patient. As my condition continues on its downwards progression I expect to work less and less, generating fewer dollars to put towards the increasing medical costs.
Living donation isn't for everyone, so if you aren’t able to be a living donor, but still want to support me; please share my story with others who may consider being a living donor or can contribute to l help with medical related expenses.
The path forward is a tough one but I’m excited to realize how this struggle will make me stronger, knowing that with the relationships I’ve built have equipped me well for this battle.
