My name is Aaron Bacica. I'm 43 years old and have recently been diagnosed with stage 2 multiple myeloma blood cancer. I have lytic lesions covering the length of my spine, ribs, pelvis, and appendages. Had to have emergency surgery on back one of the lytic lesions had eatten away at one of my vertebrae to the extent my spinal chord was rubbing it and there was a high chance of paralysis Recent prognosis is 13 years if treatment goes well. About 18 months ago, there was a good opportunity for this to be found early, but due to incompetence or arrogance, one particular hematologist/oncologist missed it.

To the present whilst not having insurance, I have accrued over $20,000 in debt to the hospital.

I finally know what was wrong with me all this time. I live with my father, who is disabled with ankylosing spondylitis, along with my mother, who has had a replacement valve in her heart.

I was playing the role of caretaker and now am the one that needs to be taken care of.

Our entire household is crippled and we could really use your help. Thank you.
