Aaron's fight to see his children

My name is Kerri and i am a close family friend of Aaron's. I have started this go fund page as I am acutely aware of the increasing cost of legal fees that Aaron is facing in order to have a relationship with his children.

Aaron has been fighting to have a relationship with his youngest three children for over 4 years following his separation from the children's mother. Whilst Aaron's past has played a role in his ability to have a relationship with his children, i can speak to his character and determination. Aaron originally lived in NSW with his eldest daughter and moved to Melbourne in 2021, to begin family law. Relocation not only was costly but involved a drastic change in their lives, moving interstate away from their family and friends.

Aaron has been self-funding his legal cost, this includes legal costs, programs that the other party has requested, reports that the other party has requested etc. Just alone I know the programs and reports have cost him in excess of $10,000. That is not including his legal representation. These programs and reports have also affected his capacity to work, often resulting in him losing a day's pay.

Aaron still has 3 other children that he financially supports, as you could imagine, with the cost of living on top of this financially costly process, Aaron is struggling. Whilst he does not want to ask for a "handout", I would like to do my best to try and alleviate some of his financial burdens. For anyone who has children, or has been through the family law process, I am sure you would be aware of not only the financial cost but also the emotional and psychological toll that this has on a person.

Aaron loves his children, and I would love nothing more than to support him in some way to finally be able to have a relationship with his children. Family means everything to me, and I am sure it means the most to my friends as well. If you could support me in any way to help Aaron, it would be greatly appreciated.
