With profound dolor, we announce the passing of our beloved Alex Jimenez Nassif also known as Metal Alex and Cachi to his friends and loved ones. His family was right by his side until his very last minutes. He collapsed in his Imperial Beach home on Monday 8/26 due to a cardiac arrest. He was pronounced dead on August 31, 2024. Since Alex was always an honorable man with a kind heart he had prior decided to donate his organs. On September 2, 2024 at 12:24AM was the time when our brothers’ heart stopped beating and his body was finally resting in peace. He lived a very intense and happy life, by the side of his beloved girlfriend and their 5 dogs. He was a music and nature lover. Cachi impacted the lives of anyone who got to meet him even after death. Alex was an active man and a big personality. Throughout his life he touched so many souls and left behind him so many memories and good impressions. Alex was the type of person to go out of his way to help people. Whether it be from fixing his neighbors fence to fixing a friends car for them. Alex always would help any person he could. He had a passion for dogs and dreamed of opening a dog rescue one day with his fiancé, soon to be wife. Alex was a man of music and nature. He loved the ocean and rock n’ roll. When he wasn’t with his guitars and drums he was with his plants in the garden of his rescue dogs. The one thing Alex would want all of his loved ones to know is that he wanted them happy and healthy and to take care of themselves. The best way to honor Alex is to honor yourself and your own health. We will always remember him for his kindness and his brilliant mind.
