Abandoned & Mutilated Rabbits Vet Care - GSWC

Garden State Wildlife Center NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Last night 6/2 we were alerted about 8 rabbits dumped in a field, in the pouring rain, in Atlantic County.
We’re a wildlife center, and don’t usually rescue or take in domestic animals. But in this case, we absolutely stepped in.
After receiving 8 white rabbits with red eyes from the amazing couple who found and caught all of them, we were then alerted that 4 more were found (second photo). These are not wild rabbits, these were someone pets that they were breeding, then dumped in a field.
Every rabbit was soaking wet down to the skin, dirty with mud, covered in ticks, and too shocked to move. Heartbreaking of all, one sweet soul is missing their ear, which appears to have been cutoff at some point in the past. And here’s where we need your help - We need to raise a little over $1000 to vet all of these rabbits. They all need to be spayed and neutered, and checked over by a vet. This was an emergency situation, we are doing everything in our power to help these sweet, innocent, abandoned souls, and we need your help to foot the bill. We are a 501c(3) nonprofit, and every donation is tax deductible.
