Abbas Elzein Funeral Fund

Hi,

My name is Nick Hatzis, brother of Abbas Elzein. It is with a heavy heart to share with the world that on December 15th, 2022, my family had to say goodbye to the most genuine, loving, and caring soul we will ever know. Abbas Mohamad Elzein unexpectedly passed away at 29 leaving us with beautiful memories of our precious boy. We will be bringing him back to his father's home country where he will be laid to rest and honored in our family cemetery in Southern Lebanon. He was such an outgoing and helpful person, and we all know how much he touched the hearts of all that knew him. He was a jack of all trades and had infinite ambition, his most recent having been accepted to flight school to become a commercial pilot. He was a one-of-a-kind son, brother, and friend, who will live on in our memory forever. We created this fundraiser to ease as much of the financial strain and funeral costs as possible. We greatly appreciate whatever support you can share at this time. The funeral home services here in the states for prep and transport to Lebanon was $9500. Plane tickets for the family cost $5000. Funeral expenses in Lebanon, including burial, grave site, headstone, and service fees are estimated at this point to be around $12,000. We will be updating everyone as we progress over the next few weeks and make any required changes to the goal. Any overages will be donated to the underprivileged.
