I'm raising money for my son's SEN school with the support of The Parachute Regimental Association and every donation will help. Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone, this is my beautiful son Avery, he has Autism and ADHD and in April 2024 received a placement at Abbey Hill Academy.

Abbey Hill is a specialist school for children aged 11-16 who have a range of disabilities and special educational needs and what a wonderful school it is, however like many specialist school's, funding is extremely limited.

One thing I noticed very quickly is the lack of outdoor equipment, children with special needs need stimulation, a way to burn off energy, have fun and to regulate their emotions, I know my son definitely does, he needs to be able to go outside and as we say..... get his wiggles out, otherwise he finds it extremely difficult to concentrate in the classroom.

So, on the 1st of June 2025 (weather permitting) I am doing a parachute jump to raise funds for outside gym equipment that will benefit not only my son but all the children at Abbey Hill who deserve to have a wonderful playground.

This parachute jump would not have been possible had it not been for The Middlesbrough & Cleveland Parachute Association who kindly gifted this parachute jump to me.

My 73 year old father who is the Treasurer of the above charity will also be doing a sponsored walk along with other veterans, from Wynyard woodland park to Shotton Airfield along castle eden walkway, where they will arrive in time to watch me throw myself out of a plane!

Therefore I will also be donating a small percentage to the PRA as a Thank you for their support.
