***Update On Abbie***

Written by Heather Hartman

Thank you all again for continuing to donate and to share love and positive vibes for Abbie. Here is the latest update on her continuing progress. As of Sunday Abbie was moved out of the ICU, and onto another floor of the hospital. She is starting to walk, talking in complete sentences, opening her one eye and sees/recognizes you. She is feeding herself, brushing her teeth and still has that fun and sweet personality we all know and love. This Thursday she will be having surgery done on the fracture on her face and is getting an MRI done on her knee to make sure she doesn’t have a torn ACL (which she may have by her discomfort while walking on that leg). We will have more updates by the end of the week. She currently is getting rest and the family and doctors are asking for no visitors at this time, with the hope that she is able to recover quietly and heal peacefully over the weekend. Again, the continued love, support and donations have been a HUGE help and blessing to Abbie and her family!
On behalf of Abbie’s family, friends and loved ones thank you for your donations, thoughts and prayers! Abbie has been making strides each day since her accident on Sunday night. We are happy to update this page with her progress. After a long night Sunday night and a four hour brain surgery due to a brain bleed doctors were hopeful but unsure of her journey. She had fractured her skull which ultimately saved her life. Monday morning Abbie was in critical condition, on a ventilator and a feeding tube. As the day went on Monday, Abbie started making new strides and into Tuesday she started to breathe on her own. She has spoken words, knowing her name, where she lives and that she’s at the hospital! Communicating with smiles, tears and small words, Abbie is a fighter and continuing to show us her strength. The doctors will be trying to even have her walk on her own next. She is no longer on a ventilator or feeding tube and is showing great progress. Please continue the prayers and love you have all shown, Abbie will need all of the love and support being she is still in ICU. We don’t foresee Abbie returning to work anytime soon since her job right now is to focus on fighting and recovering! Thank you and we will continue to update this page!

I’m speaking on behalf of Abbie’s work family.
Abbie has been in an accident and is in the ICU. She has been a part of our Juut family for many years and we are deeply saddened and want to help her financially as she will be out of work for the foreseeable future. Please help in any way you can
