Help Abby kick Lymphoma to the curb!

We all know people who have been affected by cancer and the battles they face. It’s news no one ever wants to hear. Unfortunately, our sweet cousin Abby Souder heard those words recently as she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphona. We are asking all of you to lift Abby and her family in prayer as she begins this journey to beat this awful disease that has no boundaries.

Abby is 24 years old and is a kindergarten teacher at Grassfield Elementary School in Chesapeake Va. She is a graduate of Cosby High School in Chesterfield Va and graduated with her bachelors degree as well as her Masters from Longwood University.

To know Abby is to love Abby! She is always smiling, loves helping everyone and adores kids. She did not become a teacher lightly as it is her passion. Abby has always worked hard, often holding multiple jobs in college so she could one day help others.

Well, now it’s time for all of us to help Abby. Abby’s cancer is aggressive and she has recently started chemotherapy treatments. Her cancer is stage 2 and class B and although Abby wants to continue teaching she will need to eventually take a leave of absence and safe all her energy for fighting this nasty disease. The first round of treatment has not been easy. Please rally behind her and let her feel all the love and support.

Unfortunately, Abby still has bills and daily living expenses but on top of that she will now face many medical expenses that no 24 year old should ever have to worry about. This is where you all come in!!
