Abby's Hospice Journey

My name is Nola McGown and this is a fundraiser that no one wishes to have. My daughter’s health journey has been devastating with the recent news that her doctors have told us that they have run out of long-term solutions. We’ve reached a point that Abby is entering Hospice Care. We all will focus on Abby’s quality of life and her cherished relationships that she has built over her 45 years.

Abby has four beautiful children. Maddy (21) and Ben (18) work hard and live on their own currently, with plans to continue their education. Annie (15) is in 9th Grade at Hudson High School while Josh (12) is in 7th Grade at Hudson Middle School. This will be an incredibly tough transition for them with their mom and dad and we pray they will continue their own journey of working hard in school and careers.

We’ve set up this GoFundMe to provide some financial assistance for her continued medical care and end-of-life expenses as she spends quality time with family in these next few months.

Abby’s long health journey the last five plus years left her in debt from being out of work and without life insurance.
