ABC School Odyssey of the Mind Club

Apalachicola Bay Charter school is excited to have three Odyssey of the Mind teams win their regional competition held yearly in Crawfordville, FL.  Their dedication to the creative thought process and their team has earned them the opportunity to compete at the Florida State Competition in Orlando, FL.  They have worked many hours together throughout the year including, after school hours, weekends, and during vacations.   Team members work together at length to solve a predefined long-term problem and present their solution to the problem at a competition. They must also participate in the spontaneous portion of the competition by generating solutions to a problem they have not seen before.  Students use various STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) elements and teamwork to solve both long-term and spontaneous problems.  Your donation can help make this wonderful experience possible.
