ABCD Music Lessons

ABCD Music Lessons is a for-profit Music Education organization based in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Our mission is to provide the local musicians with affordable music theory lessons, lectures, and individualized guidance via our unique ABCD Music Lessons curriculum, subsidized by the funding we raise via this GoFundMe start-up. Our four-step lesson approach (hence the name ABCD) is based on a visual, auditory, and hands-on learning experience with the intention to expand our student’s appreciation and immersion into topics of music beyond simply mastering an instrument or learning how to read music. Students will be assessed and provided with an appropriate level of education based on their prior experiences and their individual areas of interest. The funds raised via GoFundMe are intended to provide a stipend to teachers who co-create and provide the lessons. Funds are also allocated towards property leases, school supplies, learning materials, website fees, and insurance coverage. ABCD Music Lessons was created by Daniel Rassp; graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Co-creators include Sean Hodge and Nic Shaw, who are also accomplished musicians.
