My name is Troy, but some of you may know me as ABearNamedTroy - singer/songwriter and body positive advocate! You may have heard my first single called "THICCK", which is a hard-hitting anthem about self-love and acceptance. Or maybe you've heard my second single, "JEEZ" , which is a Carly Rae Jepsen-esque pop banger determined to make you dance while simultaneously smashing toxic masculinity! And if you haven't heard either of those I really hope you'll check them out :) ANYWHO - as uncomfortable as it is for me to ask for help, I know that in order to create my debut album I need to do just that. Writing music is free, but recording and releasing music is not - and that's where YOU come in. The money you donate, no matter how much or how little, will go towards paying for studio recording time, paying for my producer, paying for the mixing of the music, and paying for the mastering of the track so it sounds beautiful and professional when it ends up in your headphones. I have so much I want to share with you all through my music and I really hope you'll join me on this journey, but more importantly, be A PART of this journey. Having the opportunity to create this album would exceed my wildest dreams - I never thought in a million years I could ever step foot in a recording studio, let alone plan out an entire album with visuals and live performances. You all mean so much to me and having your support, whether you've never heard of me or you've been following me for years, means more to me than you'll ever understand. Many of you don't know this, but I lost my parents some years ago, so I really consider my followers my family and just knowing you support me and will be by my side through all the ups and downs just means the world to me and I can't wait to hug each and every single one of you someday (hopefully at one of my concerts)!
