Hello, I am Noha Abed, an English teacher in Gaza.

I work in teaching children in the primary stage and I love my profession very much. In addition, I studied healthy nutrition, because I love science, education, and progress.

I am also a mother of four wonderful children, my beautiful twins, Sakher and Jana, then Ahmed and then Muhammad, my spoiled child. My husband and I live in our nice house in Gaza, specifically the Shuja'iya neighborhood, or we were before this terrible war happened.

My children and I have lived through 4 devastating wars, and this is the fifth. My children have not known peace since they were born, as we have lost our home 3 times so far! And now this is the third time that we have lost everything, and we are starting from nothing again. This time is different, it is truly genocide!

We were forced to leave our home and our area in Gaza City, which we love, and we headed to southern Gaza, and we were forced to leave and be displaced 9 times so far... [The number can increase] We lost our city and its beautiful landmarks, we lost our home, we lost many of our loved ones and friends, we lost our source of livelihood, as my husband works as a lawyer and has his own office, and it was destroyed as well.

My children also lost their schools and their future became uncertain. They have grown up in this war for decades and were deprived of their childhood like the rest of the free children of the world.

As we escaped death and searched for (false) safety, we live in completely inhumane conditions. We live in a tent on the sand, among insects, scorpions, and snakes, and we roast slowly in the scorching heat of the sun, next to a public bathroom with a dilapidated sanitation system, in which there is no water, but there is dirt and waste everywhere. As well as unbearable unpleasant odors. We live and sleep on this dirt, and we cook and eat next to it. You can truly imagine the amount of pollution and diseases we live and face now!!

My beloved ones, my four children are sick and infected with hepatitis (they caught it from this toilet). They are just lying on the floor or the primitive mattress that we have, tired and with yellow eyes. They look like corpses, unable to do anything, in need of medication, but there is no medication or food suitable for their condition, and if there is one, it will be. It is rare and expensive and we cannot afford it.

After 10 months, without work or any income, we spent our savings on making tents and buying firewood and the necessities of a destitute life.

My children also need rest, but this is impossible in this primitive life that requires all of our efforts in order to survive. My eldest son is young and has begun to suffer from varicose veins and pain in his feet due to his long standing in front of water lines and carrying water over long distances.

Ahmed, my second child, suffers from a hernia due to carrying water and the journey to search for wood and carry it long distances. We all suffer from various burns due to our damage to lighting fires and firewood for cooking. My children suffer from hepatitis and its remnants, and they are suffering beyond their strength.

My spoiled girl suffers from hepatitis, followed by gallbladder inflammation. We carry the solution (medicine) with her everywhere. She needs to go to the bathroom every moment, but this is annoying because she needs to wait in line, and of course there is a mixed bathroom, with men in front of her and behind her in the toilet line.

My spoiled little boy, Muhammad, was deprived of his school, his room, and his own toys. Muhammad asks every day "when will we return home?" When he learned that we had lost our home, he cried with burning intensity. He recalled every aspect of the house, including his room, his toys, and his library. Every day, he cried involuntarily over his beautiful memories that were taken from him.

I cry in pain for my children’s childhood, which they were deprived of like the rest of the children in the world. It is not in our nature to make such connections, but the tragic situation we have reached has forced us to do so

What will your donations be used for?
Each adult: $5,000
As for the child, $2,500, according to Ya Hala Company, which is responsible for the crossing of Palestinians into Egypt.

So it would be as follows:
Myself and my husband $10,000
The four children are $10,000
Rent and living expenses for the next 4 months until we can manage $10,000
