Support for Jamie and Darron Abeita and Family
On the night of October 19, 2020, Jamie and Darron were brutally attacked in their home in McNary, Arizona on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation with a deadly weapon. Both were taken to the nearest hospital for surgeries and later hospitalized in ICU.  Jamie suffered more serious wounds and will require surgery in Flagstaff and extensive follow-up care.
Jamie and Darron have four children, one in college.  Jamie has worked at Whiteriver Indian Hospital as a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for 18 years. She has always shown great love and compassion in going out of her way to help everyone around her.  She loves her family,  her faith, her job, and helping her people. Darron also works at the hospital in the Health Information Department. They are a caring, loving couple who do not deserve this unexpected,  gruesome attack while they were comfortably at home with their children.
We are so grateful they are alive,  but the road to recovery will be very difficult.  I am her best friend setting up this gofundme account on their behalf to help them with medical and travel expenses and also to provide more security for their home.  They are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love,  concern, prayers, and any support offered during this challenging time.  Thank you and God bless you!
