Abel Gonzalez - Barrel House Barber Shop

Welcome, guys! My name is Justin, and as Abel's #1 (and most handsome and freshest) client, I've been here with him since the early days. I've seen a lot of ups and downs, and followed this guy all over Tampa Bay! Abel has always been one of those champs who won't let life's punches slow him down, and all of you gents that know his story know how true it is. So when he was diagnosed with colon cancer for the 2nd time, it created mixed emotions. I knew he'd just kick its ass again like the first time, but I also knew it would be a rough ride for him and his family.

Good news is, Abel is still undefeated and on the road to recovery! He finished grueling rounds of treatments and went in for a rather intense and invasive surgery in December. What the doctors hoped would be a smooth recovery of a matter of weeks has turned into being out of the shop for a few months, with his wife Natasha spending all of her time by his side. Abel has returned to work out of necessity, but still only has the strength for a couple hours per day while he recovers. The savings Abel faithfully and diligently stashed away are running low, and although Abel is too fierce a fighter to admit it, they could use a little help keeping the shop running and bills paid.

Abel's shop is voted one of the best in Tampa, and his 1000+ clients and outstanding reviews don't even scratch the surface of the impact he has on the community around him.
