Abel Padilla

Hi everyone, my name is Marlenne Padilla. I am fundraising for my uncle Abel Padilla, who was like my second dad. Unfortunately, he recently passed away on October 30th at night. It is heartbreaking for everyone I don't have any words or thoughts to explain how devastating we all are. For two years, he was fighting every day to live. He was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). Many of you might not be aware of this disease, but it's a condition that weakens the muscles at a different pace and impacts physical functions. Never did I think it was going to be this quick. He was such a hard worker and always had a smile on his face that brightened everyone's day. He was an amazing father of 3 who he cared so much about and did everything possible for them. When we needed favors, he always said yes without a doubt. Kindly, any of your help is appreciated and thanked.

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Marlenne Padilla. Estoy recaudando fondos para mi tío Abel Padilla, quien fue como mi segundo papá, lamentablemente falleció recientemente el 30 de octubre en la noche. Es desgarrador para todos. No tengo palabras ni pensamientos para explicar lo devastante que estamos todos. Durante dos años, luchó todos los días para vivir. Fue diagnosticado con ELA (Esclerosis Lateral Amiotrófica). Es posible que muchos de ustedes no estén al tanto de esta enfermedad, esto afecta y debilita los músculos a un ritmo diferente y las funciones físicas . Nunca pensé que iba a ser tan rápido. Era muy trabajador y siempre tenía una sonrisa en su rostro que alegraba el día de todos. Era un padre increíble de 3 ninos, quien se preocupo mucho e hizo todo lo posible por ellos. Cuando necesitábamos favores, siempre decía que sí sin dudarlo. Amablemente cual sea su ayuda se les aprecia y agradece.
