On Friday September 22 2023 13 year old Saw was riding home on his bike. He was crossing the intersection of 6th and state. When a driver ran a red light and hit him. Sending him to the hospital with multiple injuries. Saw suffered from a concussion, a bruise on his brain and lost 4 teeth with 2 more that are loose. His nose, cheek and collarbone were fractured. The person who hit him ran and left him unconscious on the ground. The next day 9-23-23 was his 14th birthday. What should have been a joyous occasion was spent in the hospital in pain. He is now home and on his way to recovering. We are asking for help with medical costs, a new bike, anything Saw may need as far as special food or even things to make him more comfortable as he goes through his recovery. We thank and appreciate and help we can get during this painful time traumatizing experience.
