Our music families have been very generous in supporting our various charitable initiatives over the years; thank you!

This festive season we ask for your kind and generous support of someone who is very special to all of us at Walters Music Studio.

Abi Pedersen is in her ninth year of teaching with us, but this year has been a struggle for her family. After giving birth to her second and third children in the summer (twins!) Abi, her husband, Dane, and the children have had near-constant health challenges.

Husband Dane has been found to have a rare (and fortunately benign!) tumour growing in his jaw. There will be aggressive surgeries starting in January and a lengthy recovery (time off work) for the Pedersens to confront this health challenge.

In the meantime, the whole family has been dealing with health concerns to the point that one of the babies was recently hospitalized for struggling to breathe through bronchiolitis and RSV.

We know that there are several hidden costs to health challenges and hospitalizations in addition to the actual costs of specific procedures that Dane needs. Let's work together to ensure that the Pedersens' financial stress is lessened as they confront their health challenges.
