Abide: Be Still & Know

Hi friend! Thank you for taking the time to read this.  Below details a family ministry project that Joy and I are stepping out in faith to do.

Over a decade ago, I began to sense the Lord putting a desire on my heart to provide rich biblical encouragement through Word and song for private/personal worship. A soul that draws near to God is one where the Father draws near to them. (James 4:8) We desire through this record and devotional booklet to encourage each believer to abide in Jesus Christ. (John 15)

Vision: Beautiful new biblical songs written by Keith and Joy, meant to be a source of encouragement for personal worship with an accompanying devotional booklet.

Artists: Keith and Joy McMinn with Reagan Zins (Vocal Intern)
Executive Producer: Keith McMinn
Music Producer: Kris Crunk
Studio: The Poole Room- Randy Poole
Plan: Write and produce an annual new volume.  

Charts: Keith will create and edit all charts with coordination with Kris as music producer. Each song/chart will have a consistent professional branding look. 

Formats: Each project will include both audio and a devotional booklet.  This will be both physically and digitally available. 

Music Description: 
-Cinematic in Approach; Lush strings, rich “distant” piano, acoustic, singer, maybe a solo instrument (not a feature but just for color).
-Slow and contemplative; think of listening to this while in your prayer closet.
-Arrangements that breathe with exquisite interludes to create space for the worshipper to meditate on the scripture/lyric.
-Beauty that models us being image bearers of the Creator God.
-Simple but rich and intriguing to the ear from start to finish-not a note wasted.
-Rich chord extensions that capture Keith’s writing voice.

Prayers and Support: Joy and I were given a financial gift toward this project from her parents. Additionally, I have been doing free lance chart work to earn money for the project. We currently have $5,000 set aside for the project.
