Abigail needs our help... Brain Cancer

Hello friends and colleagues and any new friends,

Sharon and I meet Abigail Holt-Jennings on my birthday 2 years ago and you would have thought we've known each other for years. We loved her passion, her fire and her love for others. Her story touched us deeply. She and Sharon had miraculous cancer stories of healing to share that seemed to go on for hours. They identified with one another in so many ways.

Well, Abigail's cancer has returned. In her brain. She needs surgery immediately. After much conversation and coaxing, she agreed to let us reach out for help for her. She is carrying a load that none of us want to face alone. She has a beautiful daughter who is still in High School and she is a single mom. She is a professional Christian counselor and a personal trainer. This surgery will cause her to lose at least 2 months of income at her job and she will need assistance with her daughter for food, housing and transportation, not to mention the medical cost that she will incur from this surgery.

Abigail's courage during this recent trial has been so inspirational to us. Though we have been praying for healing apart from surgery, the time has come to let the surgeons do what God has gifted them to do. Her doctors are amazing. Please pray for her, them and Abigail's family in the weeks to come and we will keep you updated with her progress.

THANK YOU seems inadequate words to those of you who can help....but that's what we would say. THANK YOU. This is what communities do when our friends face trials. We come together.
