Abla: A Mother's Search for Hope Amidst Gaza's Rubble
Donation protected
My name is Saige Stittsworth and I am from Olympia, WA, USA. I have created this campaign on behalf of my friend Abla and her family who currently reside in Gaza. This is her story:
"Abla's Story: A Mother's Search for Hope Amidst Gaza's Rubble.
"Your donations are saving my children's lives! With your help, I will be able to get them out of Gaza and take them to a safe place."
Amidst the ruins of war-torn Gaza, Abla, a mother of two, recounts the harrowing tale of her family's struggle for survival.
A Mother's heart in anguish forced to flee their demolished home, Abla and her children seek refuge in cramped shelters, where disease runs rampant and basic necessities like water are scarce.

Abla's pleas become particularly poignant as she describes her vulnerable family members:
- A father-in-law battling debilitating chronic illnesses.
- A sister-in-law suffering from cerebral palsy, enduring constant pain and unable to access treatment.
- A young child in dire need of diapers.
The crushing weight of despair, the relentless threat of violence, and dwindling resources have pushed Abla to the brink of despair. Her sole wish is to escape the clutches of war and find safety for her family."

With the rising scarcity of food and water, cost of evacuation and aid, and imminent ongoing danger, we need to evacuate Ablaa and her family as soon as possible. Currently, the price to cross the border into Egypt is $5,000 USD per adult and $2,500 USD per child. Abla's family unit consists of at least five adults and at least five children. Remaining funds will be used to cover housing, food, medicine, and accommodations in Egypt.
UPDATE: Hello all! While we wait for evacuation to become possible, we've shifted our focus towards fulfilling immediate needs (food, water, clothes, shelter, medicine, etc) while Abla and her family are still in Gaza. Your donations will go toward keeping her family fed and warm throughout the harsh Fall and Winter months, so please do not lose hope! Ultimately our goal is to get them out as soon as we can, but even if we are far from that, your contributions will help change their lives regardless.
