Able's vet bills

Hey, Riley here, Im fundraising to pay for my kitty Able's vet bills.

He was recently diagnosed with a respiratory infection, which has been stubborn and got really serious this Monday (the 25th/my birthday lol)

He had stopped eating and drinking over the weekend and sleeping a lot. He received fluids and medicine and I took him in the next day for fluids as he still wasnt drinking. He hadnt improved so I took him in again on Thursday to talk about other options. He was a bit anemic so they kept him in hospital, gave fluids and did test after test. They all came back normal compared to his last tests.

The doc said that might indicate something more serious like lymphoma and I needed to see a specialist. I asked them to keep him overnight until I could find a ride to the specialist 2 hours away. They called this morning and said he responded to antibiotics they gave him yesterday and ate all of his food. So I was able to pick him up today and will give him those and check back in a few days if he still doesnt improve.

So talking price, altogether all his tests, meds, fluids, and overnight stay added up to $2197.85. I have to pick up more meds on monday and then a check up if everything goes smoothly and a specialist doesnt need to be involved. So those costs will be added.

I was able to put it on my credit card but I could really use the help paying that off. I hate asking because Ive received so much help, especially after the fire, but others have told me it wouldnt hurt to ask. Ive cancelled my trip to BLFC as well :(
