Help fund Care Packages for the Homeless in NYC

Hi! I am Alessia, a High School student in New York City. I am starting an effort called Abode in a Bundle to help the homeless in the community through Care Packages with written messages and art. These "bundles" will contain socks, t-shirts, body wipes, packaged milk, and other care supplies– we need your help to get these resources!

Once we have the materials, Abode in a Bundle will host various gatherings in the Mid/Lower Manhattan area where kids (and adults!) are invited to draw designs and decorate socks, t-shirts, and bags and create notes with words of encouragement and artwork for our packages.

It is so important to lift up everyone in our community, and it begins with those who don't have the resources to care for themselves. The only way to progress as a society is to ensure we're doing our part by giving to people who need giving. I hope to encourage people, especially the young ones, to always reserve time within our lives to give to others. We enjoy so much and it doesn't hurt to share a bit of that happiness. We must always leave room in our hearts to care for those in need :)
