Arrrgggg matey! Me name be Abraham!
This little one-eyed pirate is Abraham!He is a 6 week old kitten that was found by a good samaritan at a local hotel here where I go to school in Grenada. She felt terrible for him after seeing how poorly he was doing and decided to bring him into the emergency clinic while I just happened to be working!
Abe's eye was extremely swollen. So much so, that he couldn't even close it! He was also extremely dehydrated and couldn't move. Abe went on several antibiotics and recieved around the clock care to try to make him feel better and get him heathy!
Unfortunately for little Abe, his eye ruptured while in the hospital and he had to have emergency surgery to remove it. He's doing better now and recovering after his big surgery! He had to have a blood transfusion, so he will need lots of rest and TLC!
Abe was in the hospital for 6 days to get better and to recover after his surgery! His bills are quite high, but I wanted to give him the best possible chance for a good, long, and healthy life!
Abe will make a great pet! He is so sweet and deserves the best chance possible, but I need your help! I need some help raising funds to be able to afford to give this little guy the best chance possible! He will have lots of rechecks and vet appointments to make sure he is recovering well! Any little bit helps and I'm sure Abe will really appreciate it.
