Thank you for clicking this link.

My name is Farhan. I am from Glasgow, Scotland.
I am creating this page to assist my dear friend Anwar Abu Nada who is living in Glasgow, but with all of his family members living in Gaza.

This page is to help the Abu Nada family survive the ongoing crisis brought about by the recent catastrophic war in Gaza.

After 15 months of truly unimaginable suffering, the people of Gaza are desperately trying to stay alive. The bombs may have stopped falling for now, however the battle just to navigate through each day is incredibly challenging; fraught with danger, hunger and ongoing trauma.

The Abu Nada family consists of 2 elderly grandparents, 3 families and a combined total of 9 children. The children are called, Adam, Misk, Ayah, Rahaf, Muhannad, Jamal, Mohammed, Yamen and Ziad. Adam is just a new born baby and the oldest child is just 12.

They are experiencing severe hardship. Every day the family strives with every possible means to keep going. To survive.

However, it is sadly not enough. They need our help.

Over past 15 months the family has faced death of loved ones, bombs, starvation, fear, and illness.Their family home is completely destroyed to rubble. They are psychologically and physically exhausted, fatigued, and broken within. They just want to live normal like me and you.

We want them to be alive, safe, happy, and free.

I want you to stop and think, what if this was your family and your children? The Abu Nada children are suffering from malnutrition, infections, and baby Adam suffers from a lack of milk and nappies.

Little Aya suffered a seizure recently and had to be rushed to hospital, when Aya's father asked her how she feels, she told him, "I'm afraid, I'm afraid of the noise of the drones, I'm afraid of the bombs. I am afraid we will die".

This is a little girl and her body is in deep trauma because of the war resulting in ongoing seizures.

The children have not been able to meet any of their milestones that is needed to thrive. They cry to their parents for basic food and the parents feel deeply saddened and helpless seeing their children suffer.

The elderly grandma suffers from arthritis.

When they are forcibly displaced, she cannot even walk to to save herself and relies on her sons to physically pick her up in the midst of bombs being dropped nearby.

The grandad has had a stroke and has diabetes along with high blood pressure, no medication is available for his health needs. The lack of medication can lead him to go into a diabetic coma or another stroke/heartattack.

They are innocent people suffering to a level no human should endure. Each day they hear about loved ones dying or in danger and can't do anything but cry and pray. The bombs and bloodshed have left them all with extreme trauma and the children are frozen with fear.

The winter has been so hard because they don't have anything to keep them warm or enough food. Nowhere is safe and everything is limited. The family home is no more, all their happy childhood memories have been erased.

Your help ensures they have food to survive, warmth during the harsh winters and support to rebuild their home so they have somwhere to live. They just want hope that someone has read their story and felt their pain enough to support them.

The psychological and physical effects they have had to endure have been painful, heartbreaking, and exhausting.

The Abu Nada family want to feel like life is worth living again. They did not choose to suffer like this. They are in an open air prison with bombs and all their human needs and dignity taken away from them.

Please, help us to sustain this beautiful family for as long as we possibly can.
