Abubakar Khan

With sincere sadness, we report the passing of Abubakar Khan, the son and loving child of Babar Khanzada and Sumera Sajjad, who passed away yesterday, June 28, 2022. Abubakar was a courageous young man who bravely fought his battle with cancer.

Babar and Sumera are both employees of InvaGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Cipla subsidiary, and in the spirit of Cipla's value of CARING FOR LIFE, the Cipla community embraces them and their children during this difficult time. A person who departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds; through us, they live on. May Abubakar's heart and soul find peace and comfort. Please keep Babar and Sumera in your thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.

The funeral services for Abubakar will be offered today, June 29, 2022, at 1:30 PM in Masjid Darul Quran, 1514 E 3rd Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706. The burial is scheduled at Washington Memorial Park, 855 Canal Rd, Mt Sinai, NY 11766.
